Briana Ledford, who plays the co-leading role of Veronica Chandler in CRIMPS, laid the foundation for her acting career in her native San Diego, California. Beginning with regular performances with Shakespeare in the Park, in which she took on such roles as Viola in Twelfth Night and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, she soon became involved with the edgy, critically acclaimed Poor Players Shakespeare Company, portraying Lavinia in their production of Titus Andronicus, followed by another production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Upon her move to Oregon in late 2002, Briana attended Willamette University where for eighteen months she was privileged to study voice, movement, and the Sanford Meisner method under the tutelage of successful Portland actor Susan Coromel. She has continued her acting studies at Portland State University with such notables as Lorraine Bahr and Devon Allen. Briana has been involved with Portland's New House Theatre Company's productions of Wallace Shawn's ensemble plays Marie and Bruce and Hotel Play. She has acted roles in the films Arctic Sounds and Field Guide to November Days (both 2010).
