We can transfer video from your VHS, S-VHS, or MiniDV tape formats onto DVD. This can either be a straight transfer, or the footage may be edited, titled, and/or color-corrected.
Rates are $20 per hour (one hour minimum). To estimate your total cost:
Calculate the total running time of the footage you wish to have transferred (example: 1 hr, 15 min).
Add 15 minutes for disc labeling, menu creation and finalization (a process which allows the disc to be played back on any DVD player).
Total time billed in above example: 1 hr, 30 min = $30.00.
If you have more than one tape you wish to have combined onto a single DVD, allow an additional 15 minutes for tape changing and cueing.
If you wish the footage to be edited, titled, and/or color-corrected, multiply the length of footage by two (digitization of footage + DVD mastering). Editing, etc. is an additional $20 per hour. Total time will depend on the extent of the work desired.
Once your DVD has been mastered, we can duplicate it for you for $5 per copy. Each disc includes a hard case and label.
