Marcella Laasch, who plays Sheila Jones in CRIMPS, has performed leading roles in independent films such as Dark Crimes and The Counter (both 2006), The Kids Who Saved Summer (2004), and Deadly Stingers (2003) and holds numerous film festival acting awards. Her training includes Improvisation with Toni Sepulveda, Advanced Scene Study with Judi O’Neil, the Suzuki and Grotowski acting methods with Paul Warner, and the Sanford Meisner method with Laurel Smith. She has also acted onstage for a number of Oregon, California and Washington theatre companies, performing roles in several plays including Hamlet, What the Butler Saw, Fool For Love, Noises Off!, and Steel Magnolias. She has recently appeared in commercials for Justlisted.com, Electrasol, and Fred Meyer, and was also featured on a billboard for Fred Meyer.
